PUBLIC NOTICE: FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY
Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability (SETAAAD) announces funding availability related to programs for seniors age 60+ and adults with disabilities, age 18+ in Southeast Tennessee. Proposals will be accepted for Older Americans Act Title Ill Programs including Nutrition Services , Homemaker Services, Personal Care Services, In-Home Respite, Institutional Respite, Pest Control, Groceries with delivery, Transportation, Adult Day Care, Child Day Care, Child Summer Camp, Child After School Care, Child Tutoring, Assistive Medical Devices/Technology, Personal Emergency Response System Installation/Monthly Services, Legal Assistance Services, Legal Services and Counsel for Public Guardian Program, Senior Center Services, and Long Term Care Ombudsman Services. Proposals are for serving residents of the Southeast Tennessee counties of Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea, and Sequatchie.
Any proposal for new or expanded projects will be considered during this review. Funds are available for services from July 1, 2022, through June 30,2026. Request for Proposal Application (RFPA) packets will be available from the Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability as of March 4, 2022, at www.setaaad.org . Submission of RFPAs
RFPAs must be submitted to the following locations:
Submit one (1) signed and dated original, one (1) copy to PO Box 4757, Chattanooga TN 37405 and an electronic copy via email to SETAAAD@sedev.org
Both paper and electronic submissions are required for consideration.
